Welcome to this Open House dance session with Dansarna.se !

This 1 hour workshop is for beginners and will be composed of 30 minutes teaching of basics steps to music, followed by 30 minutes adrican drums. You don't need to have any previous experience. If you can walk then you can dance.  We are going to learn step by step the moves and at the end combine them together.

Afrobeat is an African music genre that involves combining elements of West African musical styles such as American funk and jazz influences, with a focus on chanted vocals, complex intersecting rhythms, and percussion. Afrobeat Dance is a fusion of different African urban dance styles from Azonto, Gwara Gwara, Shoki, Ndombolo, Pilolo, and more to amazing urban rhythms. This Class is energetic and it's the perfect most fun dance workout as well.

The course is instructed in English.

Dansarna.se follows the general advice and restrictions as decided by the authorities.

You should definitely not participate in the course if you show symptoms of illness, or if you have been in close contact with sick or infected people. Anyone who is ill, even with mild symptoms, should stay at home until two days after recovery. If you fall ill during a lesson, you should go home immediately.

We encourage you to change clothes at home before and after activities if possible.

Keep distance from other participants, even when you are on your way in and out of the room.

The number of allowed participants is reduced to increase the availible space for each participant.
