Get in the Groove
Classes: this group has a total of 3 hours of Lindy Hop (BegInt up to Adv), 2 hours of Solo Jazz (all levels) and with 2 hours of optional Yoga (all levels). Please see the latest version of the workshop schedule at: https://www.heedman.com/winter-schedule.html
The social dance on Saturday night, Jan 24, is organized by the local dance society Northern Swing Dance - entrance fee can by paid at the entrance.
Level description: These classes are designed to fit both lower levels AND higher levels - all the way up to advanced dancers. The goal with these classes is to make your dancing more simple and "airy" and move the focus from tricky steps or tricky leading/following over to different ways to "groove" and how to dance with your whole body and soul!
Teachers: Åsa & Daniel Heedman teaches Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz.
Sofia Larsson teaches Yin-Yoga (optional).
Practicalities: please only register to one of the courses/groups - they are all different combinations of the same classes.
If there is a waiting list you can always:
- Find a partner to sign up with - both will skip the waiting list and get into the course immediately.
- Sign up as a Leader - if your leading skills fits the course level.
- Registering to the Jazz & Yoga track where you only dance solo.
