Lindy Hop Basics
This course is for both complete beginners and dancers who have previously taken 1–2 terms.
We rotate the material each term so that you start from different core building blocks of Lindy Hop. Each term focuses on one of Lindy’s fundamental steps and the associated figures. The following term, we move on to another basic step and a new set of figures that are also part of Lindy Hop’s foundations.
We recommend taking Lindy Hop Basics for at least three terms to build a strong enough foundation to move up to the next level.
You can choose to either Lead or Follow during this course. If there are too many Followers registered there will be a waiting list and you can then choose to register as a Leader instead and will then be accepted into the course. The class will be held in Swedish and/or English if there is a need for that.
Discounts: Combine this class with any other parallell class and get a discount! You can successfully combine this class with "Tap dancing" or "Solo Jazz" (a big part of Lindy Hop) which starts the hour right before in the same venue.
