Blues dance Beginners'/Fundamentals course & social dance in Lund

The course is aimed both at those who have never danced the blues and want to learn some basics and those who have taken some courses and want to practice them.

The goal with this blues circle is to make the beginner feel at home at a blues party or blues weekend and to give the more experienced dancer a chance to practice and learn new moves,

When and where

• When: 5 Tuesdays i Lund starting January 28th
• Blues dance classes:18:30-19:45
• Social blues dance included: 19:45-21:30
• Where: Järnåkraskolan - Gymnastiksal, Mellanvångsvägen 10A, Lund
• Located on the opposite side of the road from the school and hard to find without clicking on the map link.

Price and discounts

Price: SEK 390-750 (see below for details)

• The HepCat member price for this beginners course is 650 SEK for all five clases including social dance after
• Youth, 26 years and below and students get 40% discount on the course price ending up at only SEK 390 
• Youth discount is applied automatically for 26 years and below. To get Student discount for 27 years and above use booking code STU. 
•  HepCat membership costs another 100 SEK per calendar year, SEK 50 for youth up to 26 years

Course Language

This particular course will be conducted in English,  (but feel free to ask questions and receive answers in both Swedish and English.)

Good to know

• please bring:
  • flat indoor shoes 
  • something to eat before the social dance
  • an extra shirt/clothes can also help you stay fresh throughout the evening
  • a water bottle!
• No outdoor shoes, especially shoes with black soles that leave marks on the floor.
