Payment/cancellations/transfers

All orders for weekend events organized by IR Productions AB, are binding and cannot be cancelled or changed. By ordering through the internet you accept the registration/booking form, that has to be filled out completely and within that you approve the terms of agreement. A refund or cancellation of passes may in rare occasions be accepted if in good cause, unless the good cause is a breach of agreement from the organizer. In that case the client can choose to cancel without any demands of payment.

 - Payment
Registration fees are due and payable within 15 days from date of invoice delivery. Payment is to be made by bank transfer to the bank account specified in the email and on the website. If we haven't received your transfer within the specified time frame, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and you run the risk of losing your spot if we have other dancers waiting in cue. In other words, you are not confirmed to the event until full payment is done. Please note that all costs arising from transfers from abroad shall be covered by the purchaser.

 - Ticket transfer
You cannot change the type of ticket unless you have the need within good cause to transfer it to another person. However, the ticket can only be transferred to a person dancing the same role as the afore mentioned registration: meanin a leader ticket has to be transferred to a leader, etc. Same rule applies if you register as a couple. 

Liability

The guest/participant attends the workshops and parties of the event at their own risk. The organizer is liable for personal injury only in the case of at least negligent causation, for any other (especially financial) losses, the organizer is only liable for at least grossly negligent causation. Caused by his agents the organizer shall also be liable for damages that are not personal injuries only in case of intent and gross negligence. For teaching content we do not grant teaching success.

Data protection and usage

The customer agrees to the electronic processing of his or her electronically provided data used by the organizer for the purpose of handling the contract. The customer also agrees that he may receive future information material from the organizer via email. The customer is made aware that he may revoke this consent in writing to the organizer at any time.

Film and photo shoots/copyright

The organizer points out that, within the events of IR Productions AB, photographs will be taken, videos will be filmed and potentially broadcasted and that the film and photographies of all persons present (festival participants, visitors, artists, etc.) as well as excerpts, compilations, etc. may be published. At the same time, film and photographies may also be used for promotional and advertising purposes (e.g. website, leaflets, press releases, TV and cinema spot, etc.) for events organized by IR Productions AB (current year and all subsequent years, even if a name change were to occur). By registering for an event owned by IR Productions AB, the customer expressly consents to the recording and use of any photos or films of himself/herself without compensation. Only event attendees are allowed to take their own pictures and make their own films during the workshops. Filming and photographing during the shows is not technically permitted but not recommended. Furthermore during the workshops filming or photographing is only permitted during the last 5 minutes of a workshop. In case of infringement a fee of 2500 SEK will be charged. Illegally produced film and photo material has to be delivered to the organizer on demand without substitution. In case of repeated violation, the attendee may be excluded from the current and future events. All rights of use of film and photo material remain with the organizer or previous rights owners.

IR Productions regularly checks and updates the information on this website. Despite all care, data may have changed. A liability or guarantee for the topicality, correctness and completeness of the information provided can therefore not be given. Furthermore, IR Productions reserves the right to change or supplement the information provided. The content and of the UpTown Swing website are copyright protected. The reproduction of information or data, particularly the use of texts, text parts of images requires the prior consent of IR Productions.

Privacy
If the possibility exists to enter personal or business data (name, addresses, e-mail) within the website, the input of this data on the part of the user takes place explicitly voluntarily. The use of and payment for all services offered is permitted - if technically possible and reasonable - without specification of such data or under specification of anonymized data or an alias.

User agreement and personal data policy

The booking service is provided by CogWork AB. It provides event booking for participants and allows them to keep track of their information. Companies and organizations can handle events, bookings, memberships, payments, general ledger, customer communication and more.
