Partner Blues Fortsättning
Blues dances are a group of African American dance styles to Blues music, with the earliest styles developing in the late 1800's.
This course block is suitable for those who have taken at least one round of beginner classes before, and those who want to brush up on their Blues dance skills. During the course, we will cover two of the most popular styles of Blues partner dance, Juke Joint Blues and Ballroom Blues. We will also teach some basic history of the Blues, America's first original art form and talk about common structures of Blues music.
For most of the course, everyone follows and everyone leads in this class. In some classes you will choose a role.
