Fusion dance weekend in Stockholm

Welcome to a whole weekend filled with dance!

What is Fusion?

Fusion is not its own style of music or dance, it is an invitation to take the dance skills that you already have, outside of the culture and rule systems where you usually use them, to combine them with different dance partners. Maybe you like breaking rules? Maybe you are tired of the norms about who should lead and who should follow? Maybe you can't follow a specific pattern, but love to improvise and lead/follow your partner in the dance you create in the moment? Maybe you have become bored of the music that you usually dance to? Or maybe the community where you dance has left you feeling underwhelmed in some way.

Whatever reason that brought you here, we welcome you... you rebel you. And even if you're not a rebel and just want to explore movement in a different and playful way to different types of music, you've come to the right place.

The most essential thing is to not assume what people want. Ask if people want to lead, follow or switch, ask if you want to hug and ask if you want to dance another dance.

Prices
Whole weekend (member): 850 SEK
Whole weekend (non-member): 950 SEK
Membership is 300 SEK if you are over 24 years old, otherwise 150 SEK

Fika is included but you need to get your own food. There is a microwave and a refrigerator on spot.

Cancelation policy:
Full payment must be received 2 weeks after acceptance, otherwiseyou risk losing your place at the event. Cancellations before 1th of October will receive a full refund minus 100 kr processing fee. Important: please note that cancellation requests are done to kurser@swedishswing.se
Cancellations after 1th of October 2025 will receive no refund. You may however transfer your ticket to someone else with the same dance role (leader or follower).
