Weekend Balboa Workshop with Stina and Gio
Welcome to a weekend full of Balboa!
Stina and Gio met on a social dance floor somewhere in Europe a few years back and have since then built up a dance with great connection, fun moves and a lot of joy.
The workshop will be in intermediate level, and it will cover a little bit of everything they learnt together over the years. Purebal, balswing, concepts and of course how to dance with flow.
Registration for the workshop opens 1 PM at August 18:th. On Saturday night during the weekend there will be a social dance evening for everyone to attend. More info about this closer to the event.
Gio: Dance has been my lifelong passion, inspired by hours spent mimicking choreography and the uplifting melodies of jazz. In 2017, I discovered Balboa swing in Berlin, and it quickly became a nightly ritual. Immersed in the Balboa community, I've attended festivals and competed in European parties, reaching finals along the way. Now, I'm dedicated to sharing the joy of dance through teaching weekly classes and weekend workshops in Berlin. Additionally, I organize events to enrich the dance scene and give back to the community.
Stina: I started dancing lindy hop in 2010 and was immediately hooked on this amazing dance and this lovely community. In 2014 I spent a whole week in Herräng studying very fast balboa feet and after that I have never looked back. I have been traveling to a lot of international balboa events for years. After the pandemic me and some other enthusiasts started up the balboa scene in Gothenburg again where I became a local teacher. I also organize events and workshops for this lovely balboa family we all share.

Svara på antagningsbeskedet eller bokningsbekräftelsen för att stryka din anmälan. Underlåtelse att betala deltagaravgiften räknas inte som en avanmälan, men kan ligga till grund för att din bokning stryks av arrangören.

If you are accepted to the activity, you will receive an e-mail, including all payment details. There is no refund when cancelling your registration after due date of payment. Only exception is in case of illness, in which case we require a doctor’s note.
To unregister to the event before the due date of payment, reply to your acceptance letter as soon as possible. Neglecting to pay the fee does not count as an unregistration, and we will still be expecting your payment. If full payment is not received before the due date of payment, the organizer may cancel your registration.
