SINGEL CLASS TICKET - 150-200 SEK
We offer a selection of theme classes connected to African American dance styles. These sessions are designed to inspire participants and provide a broader understanding of the culture, history, and artistic expression behind the dances.
Single class tickets are available and can be selected through the questionnaire.
These classes are also open to participants without a camp ticket. Please note that prices may vary depending on the type of pass you hold or not have.

🌟 For the first time at Swingin’ Spring – the incredible Chester A. Whitmore! 💃🏾✨
A true legend of swing and vernacular jazz — dancer, choreographer, band leader, historian, and all-around entertainer. From teaching at Alvin Ailey to performing worldwide and appearing in La La Land, A Jazzman’s Blues, and even Doja Cat’s “Vegas” 🎬🎶

(FRIDAY - 16.15-17.00 - Scandic Central Göteborg)
The torch has been passed down to hChester from Norma Miller herself. He was not only trained by her and Frankie Manning, but learned everything tap from his mentor Fayard Nicholas. Chester is the youngest living legends remaining outside two OG’s, Barbara Billups(89), Sugar Sullivan (turns 96 next month) who continues to carry forward the original Lindy and its history. He is a teacher’s teacher.
Daytime theme class! - Solojazz / Vintage inspiration with Thanh Thanh
(SATURDAY - 13.00-14.00 & SUNDAY 12.50-13.40 - Landala Sporthall)
Inspired by vintage jazz videos, this solo jazz class explores rhythm, movement, and style through classic jazz steps and musicality. We’ll focus on groove, expression, and embodied rhythm while learning from the aesthetics of earlier eras. The class encourages dancers to connect jazz history with their own personal style.

During day time we provide different theme classes related to African American dances to inspire and see a broader picture of the culture.
Oh no! You have amnesia and the only move you can remember is a tuck turn! Join Kyler and Dan as they twist, bend, and break this move to its absolute limits. The tuck turn in one of the most foundational and flexible moves in modern Lindy Hop. From 1929 to 2026, from Harlem to Gothenburg, it has taken countless forms. How would you like to learn them all?

💃🏽 Alyssa Chloe is an internationally recognized choreographer, educator, and cultural bearer based in Sweden — and widely known as “The Matriarch of Punking,” a title given by original punker Viktor Manoel.
A leading force in the Punking/Whacking renaissance, Alyssa’s work powerfully bridges BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ street-dance lineages across stages, classrooms, and communities. She is the founder and artistic director of Expose Dance Festival, celebrating 10 years in 2026, and the visionary behind Punking: An American Classic, a groundbreaking event dedicated to honoring and advancing the legacy of Punking.
With over 25 years of experience, Alyssa has collaborated with legendary street-dance pioneers, created acclaimed works such as Pop Trash’D, and continues to shape the future of dance while pursuing a Master’s in Dance Education at Stockholm University of the Arts.

Additional worshop! - Solojazz with Frida Segerdahl
(SUNDAY - 15.30-16.45 - Forum)
Frida have inspired so many swing dancers for over 20 years! She found the swing dance community in their early years and have shared their dancing since then through teaching, troupe performances and their own showcases as well as competitions. Frida is also board member of Herräng Dance Camp. Taking classes with Frida gives you both a challenge for the body and mind as well as a warm feeling inside.

With your registration to this festival you accept our terms and conditions and code of conduct.
Photos and video material
By registering for Swingin' Spring you agree to pictures and video being made, shared and used on social media and for our own marketing purposes. If you for some reason dont want this, email us with a picture of yourself so we can give the photo to the photographer and they will take those pictures out after the event. You will still be photographed at the event since its easier logistically. Email: swinginspring@wcj.se
Substitute teachers
For the rare occasion of a teacher getting sick or not being able to join we might have to substitute the teacher in your track or we might have to change the schedule.
Time and location
We reserves the right to change the time or location of the classes and evening dances, and will communicate any changes on the website and/or Facebook Page.
Follow our code of conduct
If you disregard our code of conduct, you may be asked to leave without any refunds given.
Incidents, accidents and personal items
SiS does not take any responsibility for incidents and/or injuries nor for personal items or valuables that are lost or stolen during the event. Look out for yourself and for others as well please.
Payment information
We have a no refund policy. That means that you are obliged to pay unless you actively cancel your ticket.
You have to pay within one (1) day from getting your confirmation mail from us (check your spam). In our mail system we can see if you have opened your confirmation mail. Unless you pay within one (1) day your ticket is cancelled but you still have a 200 SEK fee for administration that you need to pay. To skip this fee, you need to actively cancel your ticket within one (1) day.
We will charge you in Swedish SEK, mind that the conversion to other currencies can shift a bit from day to day.
After payment, a confirmation email will be immediately and automatically sent to your email address
Can I cancel my registration?
We have a no refund on paid tickets. If you haven’t paid yet, you can cancel your ticket within one (1) days after you received the confirmation email without the 200 SEK administration fee. You do this by sending us an email at swinginspring@wcj.se. After one (1) days has passed you have to pay the administration fee of 200 SEK.
Can I sell my ticket?
You are allowed to sell or give away your ticket until 13th of March. For full-passes you need to find someone of the same role and level. If you sell your pass you need to inform us by sending us an email at swinginspring@wcj.se.

for participants and allows them to keep track of their information.
