BAW with liveband - Elie Sandberg & Badger Boys

Elie Sandberg & Badger Boys are back at Forum!

Elie Sandberg and his band visited WCJ a few years ago, and now they’re coming back!

Join us for an evening of raw and soulful blues, whether you want to dance or simply sit back and enjoy the music. The evening begins with a blues dance taster with Fatima & Gabs before Elie Sandberg & Badger Boys take the stage.

Elie performs blues in Swedish, combining original songs with personal translations of blues classics. With lyrics that feel genuine and close, and a voice coloured by Gothenburg nuances, he brings a distinctive Swedish expression to the blues.

Elie was around six years old when he first heard B.B. King and became captivated by the music. After a winding journey through different genres, he eventually found his way back home to the blues, first translating his favourites and later writing his own songs in Swedish.
